Pandora Industries was born in New York, founded by a woman named May Gruber at a time when women didn't run companies. She ran it herself from 1964. This skirt is a statement of that era. 

The fabric is lightweight and fluid, a fine cotton-flannel or cotton-linen blend.

The plaid is woven in, not printed. Dusty rose, muted mauve, smoky blue-grey, faded denim, teal, mustard ochre, espresso.
